About Komal Bajaj MD, MS-HPEd
Komal is the Chief Quality Officer of NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi/NCB and Medical Director of Sustainability for NYC Health + Hospitals, the largest municipal health system in the United States. She is a board-certified OB-GYN and Reproductive Geneticist. Dr. Bajaj is a Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine

Komal’s research interests include healthcare leadership, quality and equity, environmental sustainability, and simulation as a quality improvement technique.

Education
Komal attended Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine and completed her OB-GYN residency training at Northwestern University, followed by a fellowship in Medical Genetics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Komal received her Master’s in Health Professional Education from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute for Health Professions. She completed the GNYHA Clinical Quality Fellowship Program.
